Managing Attorney
Matan Shmuel is the founder and managing member of Shmuel Law Group, LLC. Matan focuses his practice on advising and counselling businesses and entrepreneurs in all enterprise-related matters, as well as advising individuals and family business owners in personal tax and estate planning matters.
Matan counsels businesses with startup and operational issues; drafts, reviews, and advises on all manner of contracts; and helps businesses and entrepreneurs deal with tax issues relating to their growth and expansion. Matan counsels individuals and families with estate planning, personal income tax, and business succession issues.
Matan holds a J.D. from Rutgers School of Law and an L.L.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center. Matan has taught courses at Rutgers School of Law, Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, and Georgetown University Law Center. Matan also serves on advisory boards and steering committees of several area nonprofit organizations.
